What a design team gets out of Coord

The market picture gets assembled when somebody has the time, which means it gets assembled late or not at all. Coord runs it as a standing job, so the answer is waiting whether or not anyone had an afternoon to go and find it.

At this size a competitive set can be held in full and read line by line, so nothing has to be sampled and no move is too small to notice.

This week

This is the question design adverts actually ask

  • What is the market doing on colour, fabrication and silhouette, and where are we behind?

What the week looks like either side of it

  • Today

Colour direction taken from whatever the retailer typed into the product title

    With Coord

Shade measured off the garment and corrected for how the picture was lit

  • Today

A trend called once it is in three competitors' ranges and the buy window has shut

    With Coord

Counted across every range watched, week on week, while it is still spreading

  • Today

Cloth and construction judged from a product description

    With Coord

Weight, weave and finish read from the photography itself

  • Today

Silhouette compared by eye, one product page at a time

    With Coord

Shape held as an attribute you can filter a whole market by

What Coord answers

And the observation behind each one

  1. Which shades are gaining across a whole market, week by week

Colour measured off the garment in the photograph and normalised for how the picture was lit, so the same shade counts as the same shade wherever it is sold

  2. What a market is making things out of, and in what shapes

Garment and material taxonomy read from the image: silhouette, neckline, length, sleeve, weave and finish, held as attributes you can filter a market by

  3. Where your range sits against that, by category

Range churn and colourway spread off the daily panel, set beside your own range on the same attributes

About 480 brands read every day across Great Britain, the United States and France, with wider sweeps out to about 5,700. Measured September 2026.

What it will not tell you

Colour, cut and cloth are read from the photograph, so Coord can tell you what a market is showing. What is selling inside it is inferred from stock going missing, and nobody publishes the sell through that would confirm it.

See it on the brands you actually compete with.
